Inside the fan zone for Qatar’s ‘Annabi’ team

Al Annabi village is a mini fan zone for fans of Qatar’s football team.

In addition to a goal-scoring area, a match screening corner, and some children’s activities, there is also a little museum offering visitors a chance to learn about the history of football in Qatar.

On display are team jerseys, newspaper clippings, team sheets, and the team’s prized possession: football trophies. The AFC Asian Cup trophy that Qatar won in 2019 sits between two Arab Gulf Cup trophies.

Fans of the Al Annabi will hope that their team will be able to add a gleaming FIFA World Cup trophy to this collection.
