Can Getafe climb out the relegation zone?

Last weekend, they drew 1-1 with Alavés at Mendizorrotza, taking the lead through Enes Ünal before conceding an 87th minute equaliser.

So, Azulones have now drawn three successive La Liga fixtures, amassing ten points from their last seven outings.

Despite this, Quique Sánchez Flores’ side are still second bottom, three points adrift of safety.

Getafe’s season then got worse on Thursday night when, amazingly, they were hammered 5-0 in the Copa del Rey by Atlético Baleares.

The Copa certainly isn’t their priority right now but getting demolished by a third-tier side is far from ideal.

Will Getafe claim a much needed victory here?

Osasuna meanwhile came from behind twice to draw 2-2 with Barcelona at El Sadar last Sunday.

David García and then Chimy Ávila both with equalisers in Pamplona, the latter just four minutes before the end.

So, despite actually being winless in eight league games, drawing six of those, Jagoba Arrasate’s side are up in tenth place.

Los Rojillos have finished tenth and then 11th since winning the Segunda División title in 2019 and are on course for more mid-table stability.

Unlike their hosts, Osasuna did win in the Copa del Rey this week, beating Deportivo de La Coruña on Thursday.

Kike and then Ante Budimir scoring in the comeback victory at Estadio Riazor.

Will Osasuna now end their winless run at Estadio Coliseum Alfonso Pérez?
